is billy's shoulder going to be up to it though? i know the reason he stopped pitching was because he was having shoulder problems. whos going to play center field if he's pitching?

why would you want billy as your closer. you'd think that there has to be someone at south who would be better fit to fill that role. Just let billy roam cf and mash, find someone else to close. If sorenson can manage his control, he would be a lights out closer.
I never blame myself when I'm not hitting. I just blame the bat and if it keeps up, I change bats. After all, if I know it isn't my fault that I'm not hitting, how can I get mad at myself?

ya thats why i kinda said projected, just in case things don't pan out ha but ya....when u think about it, there arent' too many teams that have a set "closer" anyway, so what i probably should have said is one of souths go to guys in later innings. This is basically because billys elbow wont allow him to go more than 3 innings.....parker kruckenberg would be the guy to take billys spot in center if this were the case tho

He has very good potential, but it won't be tapped into fully this year.</span>

I really doubt you've seen a better freshman than him.

i never said he wasnt good. i was impressed with him when he pitched against red river, but bollinger is far better than kingsley.

So are you saying he's good or he's bad.  That statement didn't make any sense.

The season really needs to get started so we can separate the truth from the hype.

The WF freshman is Jacob Kiefer.. he needs to develop a curve ball or some other off speed before even being considered to be seen during tourney time..

that tends to be the case with a large majority of the younger kids. this gets them in trouble when they are pitching against varsity players because those hitters catch up to their fastball pretty quickly and then they get rocked. an example would be kyle kingsley at edc last year. he was lights out for a few innings against red river until they caught up to him and then he got hit.
