Does anyone know anything about the Olson kid from Bismarck?  The last thing I heard was that he was in the Texas Ranger's camp during spring training but I don't see his name of their 25-man roster.

2/16/06 - The Rangers have signed 27-year-old infielder Tim Olson to a minor league deal. A 2000 draftee of the Diamondbacks out of the University of Florida (taken in Round Seven, one round before Arizona chose Brandon Webb), Olson reached AA in his first full pro season and got a decent look with the big club last year, making 48 Diamondback appearances (at third base, shortstop, and the outfield) and hitting .186/.301/.320 in 97 at-bats.

Did some searching and I found that North Dakota native Tim Olson is listed on the roster for the OKlahoma Red Hawks, the Texas Rangers AAA affiliate.

Kory Klubben hit over .700 one summer for Hope-Finley's legion program in the late 90's I believe.  His teammate Justin Burchill was a really good pitcher who went on to be underused by NDSU.  There was also Cory Pladson from Hatton in the area who was a very dominant pitcher for the Flyers in high school and legion.  Dan Swift from Mayville was at one point the career leader in homeruns for NAIA baseball with 67; the record has since been passed and is now 72.
