As far as I know, Players can choose which Post to play for. That was how it worked last year:

"Tryouts are held for all registered players, after which they are placed on the appropriate team based on ability. (For example if a 15-year-old player trying out is skilled enough to play on the Varsity, he will be placed on the Varsity by coaching staff.) Player registration boundaries for 2015 are open, meaning a player living anywhere in Fargo has the choice of playing for either of Fargo's Legion Baseball Programs."
