Fargo South 08-09 season

how good is south gonna be this year?? i'm hearing some good things.

I think south will have a very competitive team this year again... i heard that they will play a minnesota team their first game next season. Is this true or just a rumor???

i hear that it is edina.... i think south would let them play close early and then in the 3rd shut the door... they have a very strong defense in every position and tyler burkle is making very VERY big strides in improving

Tyler Burkle??? i dont recognize that name from last season. Who is he... Edina should be a very tough match up, escpecially b/c idk how well south would be this season. If this was one of the south teams from the last two years i would have put my money on south for sure

You dont know Tyler Burkle? 6'3" 300+ lbs.... hes the austin richards.. he can bench 360+lbs and can squat 530lbs... and i think he cleans around 290lbs.. scouts should be looking at him sometime this year

no i cant say i've heard of him but if he's as big as you say he is, that will be a huge advantage for south this year... do you know if he is a junior or what

the question is can he move like richards.... richards was 6'3" 300+ and could move better then a lot of guys who weigh 250... i know personally from playing d-end across from him everything i did he stayed right with me along with man handle me with his brute strength... it helps to be that big and that strong but if you can move decently well your not gonna be that great... especially in souths offence

o with out a doubt he is as fast if not faster than austin is.... im surprised that he didnt play that much last year. it seems that he has just bloomed out of nowhere i think u should look at some rushing records this year for south's offense with burkle on the line holding it down

what are you talking about??? im getting my information from inside sources from south... pondhockey and i are obviously are the only ones interested in this big situation... its not often that you have someone this big coming out of north dakota i.e. Tyler Burkle.

i hear from one of the juniors at south that NDSU is looking at Burkle.. i wonder if they lost faith in austin richards and are now looking at Burkle to take his spot???

Considering Richards is being looked at to start next year for NDSU... What has Burkle proved yet? Richards is a 3 time all-stater and playing for one of the top 1-AA schools in the nation...get your worthless and bloviating statements out of here

how can you mean something to a team when you havent even played one down of varsity football... i am not saying this kid doesn't exist but seeing someone dominate sophmore games and lift a bunch doesn't mean he is going to jump onto the scene at south

he has limited varsity time... when i was in fargo i got a copy of the paper and it was him in one of the pictures.... i hear they also got this kid who can kick 35+ yard field goals... hes gonna play his 1st year next year

Honestly the kid is not that bad and has potential. I saw him at a football camp last summer in fargo, and he has what i would classify as "raw talent". It looked like he needed quite a bit of work with his technique, but the dude is big and there is no arguing that. But he is definitely NOT comparible to Austin Richard, a three time all-stater now at NDSU. There is no way of knowing how good this kid is until he starts a varsity football game, and you want to compare him to (or claim he is better than) an absolute stud.
