I think he'll get a free agent tryout, but most likely he'll be playing in the CFL.

I also think he might get a look in the Arena League as an Offensive specialist.

No the reason is his speed at that size. Sure he is quick, but with that frame in the NFL he would be as fast as some LB's with cover corners being much faster. Sorry guys, but D-II quick is nothing compared to high-end D-I and professional. He would be just fine if he was 6'4", 245. I think the Arena League is a very good possibility though.

two guys that played at big time d-1 schools and are faster and more skilled, while they both weigh 180-190, dressler is under 5'10'' and came to UND weighing like 160

He will probably get a free agent contact, but ultimately I think he has the best chance at playing in something like the http://www.unitedindoorfootball.com/ which is full of former NCC stars. Or if he can make an Arena Football League team, they do pay pretty well, not NFL money, but I think still he could make 6 figures.

And who in there right mind wouldnt take 6 figures to play football?

Hopefully Weston can make it to the nfl. Stormtrooper why do you have to put down a great player that has broken quite a few records. Weston is better than anything century football ever produced.

I'm not sure if you noticed, but stormtrooper was not the only person who said cfl or that they didn't think he would make it into the NFL.

I don't wanna fight you either dude. But, all I see is an exclamation point, and that usually means someone is excited about something. I would be excited if I got the chance to play in the CFL. I hope Weston makes the NFL, but I won't be disappointed if he plays in the CFL, because not too many guys from ND make it pro.

so he didn't laugh at it but what stormtrooper said is still a putdown. An example is like saying michael jordan should have played overseas then playing in the nba. Stormtrooper is just mad that Weston Dressler is a better football player than him.

Im just saying that weston dressler is too small for the pros. and he is better than any football player chs ever produced. hes better than any other player out of bhs or nd period. i didnt put him down. hes only about 165 pounds. use your brain please markwald. how many 165 pounders do u see in the nfl. many people compare him to wes welker of the patriots. for 1, welker went to texas tech, dessler UND, welker 185, dressler 165 barley. dressler is the best high school football player ive ever seen, and the fastest. id take him on my team any day over Bollinger, Eslinger, Senger, Roehl, you name it. so dont say im putting him down. The cfl is where the smaller guys play on a larger field and that fits dressler perfectly. i hope im wrong but dressler may never see an nfl field.

Two words for you... Jim Leclair!! Played for the Cincinnati Bengals and was a terrific linebacker who played in the superbowl.

Jim Kliensasser. Brooks Bollinger(in the NFL so hard to say id pick Dressler before him). Phil Hansen(or did he just go to college in ND?).

And i may be wrong but isnt the CFL field only longer but as the same width or is it wider too?

u cant put him ahead of eslinger cuz its not even close. he played in the big ten at minnesota, won the rimington and outland trophy, awards for the best center and best lineman(offense or defense) in the country. dressler has absoultely 0 chance of getting drafted, none. he does have a chance at being signed to a practice squad or something but its gonna happen through free agency if it happens. eslinger was i believe a 7th round draft pick by the broncos. there is no comparison. kleinsasser and hanson are also ahead of him by a great margin. no respect to dressler, still a great football player

Hansen is from Oakes and they are PROUD of it too (nothing wrong with that). I personally would take Kleinsasser, Bollinger, Eslinger, and Roehl over him. IM not trying to take anything away from him, because he is a phenomenal player. I think the CFL or AFL fits him better though.

Phil Hansen also played in 4 super bowls, but unfortunately lost all of them
