You hate to second guess a coach, especially one of Gibson's caliber, but going for the two-point conversion seemed questionable.  Any thoughts......

Minot was rollin all over BHS in the 2nd half and the offense had a nice drive led by thorton at the end and thats the only thing they had goin for them the whole 2nd half, and they had so much momentum just a bad pass by esley the only bad one he made the whole drive

Yeah, I wasn't too surprised... Bismarck only put together two decent drives in the game and scored on both... The Demons had a really hard time running the ball. I think Gibson would have been pretty happy if his team could have got out of their with a win and they had just as good of a chance at getting the 2-point as going into overtime and having to score.

I think that the game showed that minot was the more physical team.  they dominated most of the game, including not converting on a 4th down on the 2 yard line and missing a 35 yard field goal.

Bismarck High's defense was completely out of gas. Coach Gibson really had no choice but to try and steal the win right there
