Note: I know Minot beat Century earlier in the year. But come playoff time anything can happen and this game will be close. I'm not familiar with class AAA but i've seen some of the highlights on TV and listen to some games on the radio. But i'm familiar with 9 man football considering my team is part of 9 man.

West Fargo is playing better and better each week, but BHS is always tough. This one will come down to the 4th quarter.

G2: Fargo Davies @ W2 Century (7-2)
Is there a team playing better in AAA than Century right now? Only time will tell I guess....

G3: E4 Fargo South (5-4) @ W1 Minot (8-1)
South is not playing really good football right now and a trip to Minot is ALWAYS tough.

G4: W3 Dickinson (7-2) @ Sheyenne
If Sheyenne can slow down the Dickinson run game, they will be ok. Sheyenne has been slowly gaining confidence since the West Fargo game with only one slip up since then against Red River. This one has the potential to be a track meet.

Now if Sheyenne were to lose on Saturday, that would make this a worthless take. Regardless, good luck to everyone the remainder of the season!

Round 1 Predictions:

G1: West Fargo - this will be the game to watch, but I take WF in a close one.
G2: Century in a blowout
G3: Minot in a blowout
G4: Dickinson by two TD's - they have a strong running game and are much more physical.

Wow! Wooooww! Wwwwwooooowwwww! Minot can thank their lucky stars for still having a shot at the title. and fargo Souths coaches for deciding not to run it down, punt it, and force Minot to get a Hail Mary or some other crazy play. Someone told me with their math, should have been a punt with 20-30 seconds. I can't believe Fargo South even came close. They were struggling and on the road and in Minot!

Might be a lesson learned for the Magicians. Need to enter every game with energy or these kinds of things can happen and don't let an underdog hang around or they will come back to bite you.

Well it is good they learned their lesson. Any team will beat you if you screw around prepping or think the game is over halfway through the 3rd quarter.
