Im not sure i would give Fargo North so much credit, Peter is a clear freak athlete, but it takes more than one to be on top, or second in this case.

True, but it appears from their roster that North was a fairly young team last season, plus they lost 3 games by 7 points or less, including two by one point. How do you predict the teams will finish?

West Fargo is continuing with high expectations year after year, yet they have not made any noise in state? Puzzling to me

I wouldn't be so sure of ranking dickinson so low

I heard Dickinson dominated Fargo north and devils lake at the VC team camp

I have also heard that Dickinson brought their whole team? Again West Fargo? Come on boys!

Well I guess that's why its a team camp? But know they didn't have there whole team

Red river goes from losing one game in the EDC to being ranked last. I realize they graduated many talented seniors but there juniors from last year are also very good. There JV team was also good. I'd say they would be around #2 in the EDC.

You may be right. I just see that they lost their starting QB, their two leading rushers, their two leading receivers, plus several offensive linemen. That's an awful lot to replace, no matter how good their juniors and JV team were. I may have picked them too low, but neither do I see them "around #2 in the EDC."

Any Info on the EDC any key players or opinions on who the top dogs will be?

I am from the west as you can tell from my name and now live in Fargo and cover EDC football and would have to say Peter saintal is the best prospect that I've heard from scouts from UND ndsu and MSUM . I have also heard names like West Fargo linebacker Caleb Mattila even though he is coming off an injury But looked good in a camp at UND I heard.Also his teammate Shelby Schulz a promising dback I think should come up a lot more in the season. Also Bryan Bjerk from Red River is an absolute DUDE rumors are looks from Minnesota . Devils lake has Nate Mertens there returning do everything type guy. Davies is returning Eric Peterson returning allstater after leading his team to their first trip to state. The EDC has many exciting players this year and should be fun to cover. There is definently names I forgot but these are the ones I hear the most. Let's hope for a good year from the east after a couple down years.

I agree. I totally missed it with Red River (and South). I'd like to see your comments BEFORE the season next time, though; hindsight is always 20-20.

you got to realize that when he made these picks it was: Wed Apr 25, 2012.

Looks like you should have listened to the earlier commenter about the Red River rank. couldn't have been more off with them and Fargo South. I had the opportunity to watch that game last night and WOW did Chad Bartosh ever look good and so did Josh Miller from RR
