North Dakota Preps

Who are some good kickers in AAA this year. I think Ben Love of Minot is 2-3 from fieldgoals(probably more), and is around 20-20 with extra points.

Any thoughts

Teams don't kick as much as they should. My senior year for jamesown I had 4 fg attempts. I already had 4 three games into this season of college. I can't find WDA stats, but for the EDC no one has made a fg yet. South is listed as trying a 50+ yard field goal (No idea why they would do that).

There are so many factors that play a role in high school kicking....field condition, snap, hold, what size block you kick off of. Colleges are more impressed with kickoffs then they are PATs or anything.

Schools in ND should kick more.

Davies kicker made a FG against Fargo Shanley in the first game of the year (its listed in the Team Stats category: Ekic 26 yd FG)

oh, i just took a quick glance at the edc website. I must have missed that.

I agree though...teams don't kick much anymore.

Get this...Davies has not attempted a punt yet (at least according to their stats)

I've been to a few Davies games.....They have punted A lot!!! Jameson Kath is their punter

K well than they don't enter their punting stats.

The Century Kicker is decent, last I heard him and Love from Minot were the only one's in the West with a field goal, Love has 2/3 both 26 yarders the miss was a 25 and Century's kicker has one field goal and I don't know how many misses, at least 2 because he missed 2 field goals against Minot last night.
