Milnor/North Sargent at home vs. Ellendale on Tuesday night.  Are you ready for some football?

someone needs to find a way to get 11 (or 9 maybe) media guys together...get them some football pads and give the kids a chance to take out their frustrations on the media.

i would love to throw on pads again...it is too hard for me to get excited for football when i can only watch it and not play.

Is Milnor that much better than last year or is Ellendale that much worse than last year. From what I remember Milnor didn't win a game last year and Ellendale finished 3rd in their region behind Edgeley and Napoleon.

A little of both.  Ellendale lost almost all of their starters, but do have Peldo back and speed kills, especially in nine man.  Milnor/North Sargent was winless last year but played mostly sophmores and freshmen and they learned something from their lumps last year.

Ellendale lost 12 seniors and 11 were starters.

Richland vs. BCN Friday night... how can you take down richland

good coaching will help but coach sheehan is a master at the spread offense others try to run it but how better to defend something but run it yourself to perfection plus woodbury is a horse a fast big horse.  everyone thought richlands offense was good last year but their defense kept the offense out there

Schemeing to stop the spread is easy, just like any offense.  But on the field it isn't so much the x's and o's as it it is the Jack's and Joe's.  Whoever takes down Richland is going to need 4 DB's that can lock up Richland recievers man to man and they wioll also need fast, physical LBrs to slow the Direct Snap and Speed Option

Richland sounds a lot like Central Valley. Wide open offense. Deadly with a quick QB who can get around the corner.

Richland is not like Central Valley. From what I have seen from both teams are different in many areas of the game. Scheming is easier than actually stopping any offense. You need players to stop any team. It should be an interesting year to see what develops.

Thats pretty much what I said, it ain't the x's and o's (Scheme) its the Jacks and the Joes (players)

I think Oakes is a little bit better than their record indicates.  Ellendale is so young up front, I think they will struggle a bit with Oakes' linemen.  Not having a true QB also hurts Ellendale, last I saw they had Peldo back there and would run some option and QB Sweeps.

I'll Take Oakes 46-8.  I think Oakes is due for a big night against Ellendales D and it seems the Cardinals O is good for a touchdown a game.

I'll agree with that Ellendale is a very young team.

I'm one of the twelve seniors that graduated last year.
