Game of the week:

Napoleon at Oakes

Should be a great game with a tough Oakes D taking on one of the best running backs in the state.

Wyndmere vs Richland could also define the playoffs a bit more.

Another big game this week is Dakota Prairie at Lakota, winner is sitting good in the region standings

Game of the week in the Northwest is DC (2-1) vs MLS (3-0). First real game for MLS with DC looking good after the WC opening loss. With MLS used to running up the score on the weaker teams, this one will go to the DEFENSE that shows up to play. DC by 10.

I agree! Lakota may be 2-0 but against soft competition, Dakota Prairie beat a play playoff contender in North Border.

Throw all that stuff out it is still the battle of Nelson County first one to 80 wins.

I think that Lakota is 3-0. I am also quite sure that Dakota Prairie played South Border the first week who is supposed to take last in their region and then they played Four WInds the next week to pick up two of their three wins. THose aren't exactly playoff teams. DP did play a very good game against North Border by the looks of the box score in the Herald and I agree that it will be a fun game to watch as the rivalry between these two schools is a good one in this part of the state.

game of the week in region 4 has to be tgu and wells co. I'm sure st.john vs ncb will be a good game but it doesn't have the best team in region 4 in it.

Is Newtown sending their JV or just looking for a easy win?

New Town is sending their varsity squad. Unfortunately, New Town has been outscored 164-8 in their three games this season, so it may well be T-TC that gets "an easy win". (No disrespect intended towards New Town. Their football program is not what it should be.)
