Game of the Week: Richland (2-0) @ Hillsboro (2-0)

I also see W-L @ Northern Cass to be a good game also but nothing close to the caliber of the Game of the Week!!

Any other good games?? Western half of the state??

Richardton Taylor/CM will tell us who is the team to beat in the western side of the state. Two good running teams with good defenses.

This will be a real test for Northern Cass to see what they are made of. Wyndmere should bounce back from a tough game last night.

The Hillsboro /Richland game will probably set the tone for the region championship. The Richland blowout of Sargent Central and a win against a very good Edgeley team shows that Richland is back to its old tradition this year. As for Hillsboro, most of us in the region now see them as the team to beat. They have got so many weapons and so many seniors. How do you stop the Grothmanns and Meyer?

Not really, pretty much top vs bottom in region 5. The only team that's missing is Parshall, definetely bottom. I wouldn't expect any of these games to even be close. A T-TC over WC, Surrey over B-OR, or Glenburn over MLS upset would be a pleasant surprise though.

I think W-L will pound Northern Cass. Northern Cass has improved, but don't put much stock in a 33-12 win over Midway-Minto. M-M is not a very good football team yet. They are improving, but they aren't there yet. W-L by 3 touchdowns at least.

Richland looks like they are throwing the ball pretty well. They've got the running game and if they can throw as well, look out. Any team in 9-man that has a legit passing game is dangerous.

Is Lakota for real, or are they playing weaker competition right now? 2 whoopings in a row speaks well for them.I thought they would drop off a little this year - they lost a lot from last year.

North Border looks like they are picking up right where they left off last year - scoring points in bunches. Anyone seen them play?
