thougths, include stats
keys to coaching
1) Surround yorself with people who can't live without football
2) Recognize winners. They come in all forms
3) Have a plan for everything

"Don't give up at halftime. COncentrate on winning the second half"

"When you can't score from the 1, you don't deserve to win"

Divide County has some good ones returning this year. Austin Dhuyvetter (spelling?) and Aaron Wagenkncht(spelling? haha) are both outstanding linebackers.

It's not just the tackles he makes that make him great though, it's the way he takes control. You can ask anyone on Hillsboro's schedule last year, and they'll tell you they had to plan their offensive attack around Grothmann. Personally, I'd like to see him get even more blitzes this coming year, cuz that's fun to watch.

As for 100 tackles...I dunno, maybe. I don't have his stats on hand, I'm sure someone here knows though. Either way he should definately be considered one of the best, if not THE best linebacker this coming year.

The funny thing about Grothmann, if I recall correctly, is that his little brother Zachy actually led the team in tackles, not Andrew.

He kind of took over defensively against us last year in Wyndmere. He shut down the run and pass in the 3rd quarter in a very close game. Some of his hits were college level.
Labor will be as good if not better than McCleary this year.
