(6-3) R2#2 Maple River @ (#1) R1#1 (1) LaMoure-Litchville-Marion (8-0) - Don't think it will be a close game. LLM 40 to 8
(6-3) R8#2 Surrey @ (#8) R7#1 St. John (6-2) - St. John is hot as can be and keeps on rolling 36 to 20
(5-4) R4#2 North Star @ (#4) R3#1 (3) Cavalier (8-0) - Cavalier is just more consistant (although I think they are beatable) 30 to 14
(7-2) R1#2 Wyndmere-Lidgerwood @ (#5) R2#2 (4) May-Port-C-G (7-1) - If WL is missing QB it won't be a good game which is too bad because I thought it would be. 42 to 18
(5-4) R6#2 Hettinger County @ (#2) R5#1 (2) New Salem-Almont (8-0) - New Salem rolls 38 to 16
(8-1) R5#2 South Border @ (#7) R6#1 Grant County-Flasher (6-2) - This should be the best game of the week. I will take SB to get it done. 28 to 26
(6-3) R3#2 North Border @ (#3) R4#1 (5) North Prairie (8-0) - NP shows they are a dominate team and wins by multiple scores. 34 to 14
(6-3) R7#2 Westhope-Newburg-Glenburn @ (#6) R8#1 (RV) Divide County (8-0) - Should be another great game and I will take Divide because of the trenches 20 to 18

33 points right
3 points wrong

Pretty sure I won.

I'm curious why did so many of you pick St. John over Surrey? I don't follow those regions closely, but Surrey beat them easily the first time too.

Everybody probably picked St. John because they beat Surrey 58-16 in week 6.

There were 3 games that the outcomes flipped from the regular season. Can anyone shed light for us on what the differences were this time around?

Week 1- South Border beats Grant County/Flasher 46-34
Today- Grant County wins 44-18
I heard that GCF scored a couple defensive TD's in this game. That has to be a big part of the flipped outcome.

Week 5- Divide County Beats WNG 52-46
Today WNG wins 70-66
To me this is insane that in two games against each other these two teams combined for 234 points!

Week 6- St. John beat Surrey 58-16
Today- Surrey wins 30-6
There was a news report about St. John this past week that pointed out that they were 6-0 since starting 0-2 and have scored an average of 60 points per game over that span. Then they were shut down to 6 points today. Hats off to Surrey. They obviously figured something out giving up 52 less points the second time around!

Saint John lost its quarterback on the second possession of the game with a knee injury. They had the fullback play quarterback for the rest of the first half, the tight end took over at quarterback the second half.

SB was up 6-0. Grant County had a pick six to make it 8-6. Grant County would score again to make 16-6 and then I thought SB went into panic mode. I don't think SB ever punted and they threw a lot of passes. Not to mention they couldn't get a stop in the second half. If Grant County had a second defensive TD it was after the game was out of reach.
