Grant County dominated this game from the opening possession. They owned the line of scrimmage the entire game. Their RB (Friez) is only a sophomore and he was dominate today. A great season by South Border, but Grant County was definitely the better team today.

Couldn’t agree more, the line of scrimmage was won on both sides by GCF, helped by a 76 yard Wyatt Ottmar DE pick 6 which SB never recovered from. I was very impressed by the GCF QB Jace Friesz, he controlled this game and has a great arm. Really hoping GCF gets by Hettinger Scranton next week because a Potts <LaMoure> vs Friesz QB contest may be the 2 best QB’s in ND 9 Man.

Could not agree more, I would definitely drive to LaMoure to see those two go head to head. Grant County seems to have a pretty good mix of physicality and skill players. (And you are also right, that pick 6 by a d-lineman was an absolute back breaker for South Border.)

LaMoure up 14-6 at the half. Bottineau lost their starting RB to a knee injury, but is hanging in there. Last week LaMoure owned the 3rd qtr, will be interesting to see if they can make the right adjustments at the half again.
