Thought new salem outthought themselves a little too much on offense. Oldenbach really stepped up, Hughes and Reck really came through, definitely a team win. Very entertaining game to watch

Posted: Sun Nov 11, 2018 9:57 pmThis was a good game to watch. Thompson overcame an injury that I don't know if many other teams could have. The backup QB played well enough to win his team a state championship which doesn't happen very often especially in smaller schools. New Salem fought hard but came up short. Great game between two really good teams. It was fun to watch and it will be interesting to see what next year brings for 9 man as some of the top teams from this year move up to 11 man next year.
