Who knows. I guess we will know at the Dakota bowl if one team gets blown out.

Before the playoffs started I predicted Wyndmere-Lidgerwood would play New Salem-GU for the 9 Man Title.

Wyndmere-Lidgerwood 38-36
New Salem-GU 30-26

Wyndmere-Lidgerwood over Cavalier 50-48 (I'm just going to go really high...will be a close finish).
New Salem-Glen Ullin over Shiloh Christian 38-32

Both games have the ability to get HIGH scoring...would love to see any of these 4 teams' offense in the Dome on the 11/10!

I think all games will be close and any combination of these final four would make for a great show in the dome. That said I'll go with the QRF and say Cavalier beats W/L and NS-GU beats Shiloh.

You had it right you said it "will be a close finish"......you picked Cav to lose 3 time this season.....they went 10 and 1.......

Yeah I picked Thompson both games and picked Wyndmere-Lidgerwood here. I, sometimes, pick the schools/teams that I have connections with. Can't tell me that picking those opponents were 'poor' choices other than the fact that Cavalier did beat Thompson both times. No one is ever perfect in their predictions! Thanks for critiquing my picks and ensuring me I got more wrong then right

It sounded like a fun game on the radio...and it came down to a couple big plays for both teams. Good season by the Tornadoes and good luck in the Dakota Bowl for the Warbirds.

I will take the Warbirds over Shiloh in the Dakota Bowl (40 to 32 final score). Strenge and the Warbirds are coming off one of the best games of the year against a really good Cavalier team. If they can provide a similar performance in the Dakota Bowl I see no reason why it doesn't end in a second state championship for Strenge and the Warbirds. With how well they threw the ball in the miserable conditions against Cavalier they should be able to put up huge numbers on the turf in the dome. They struggled shutting down Urlaub running the ball so they are going to have to find a way to stop Fagerland if they want to win. Best of luck to both teams.

Should be an interesting game. Turnovers will decide the game. I will take Shiloh in an upset. 42-40..

I think of the roster thing again with the senior loaded Warbirds (12) and a total of 32 on Roster ....they sit good with revolving players and depth.......I haven't seen the Roster of Shiloh but being a School in the City of Bismarck I am sure they aren't starting to many Freshman either........I believe come Nov 10th in 9-man Football (3 months and 3 days from the start of it all) that the team with the most depth wins, because I know they are both coached very well!

just looked........ Shiloh has 41 on the Roster

Predicting Wyndmere-Lidgerwood to win this game 46-20.

Remember the quarterfinals last year, when W-L was up big in the first quarter and they let Shiloh back in it. Those thoughts will be on the minds of W-L all week and there won't be a letdown this time around. Wyndmere-Lidgerwood on the turf will be fun to watch with their speed & playmakers.

Congrats to both teams for making it to the title game. You can bet every small town fan in ND will be rooting heavily for Wyndmere-Lidgerwood to take down Bismarck.

Bismarck is right on the cut to go 11 man so they have the players on the roster. I’ll take Wyndmere by a touchdown.

With those numbers, I think both teams should be 11 man? Midway-Minto was 11 man a couple years ago and I think had about 17 players.

OG had 20 players this year for 11-man FB and everyone here seems to think they should be in Class AA. Enrollment is used because it's a fixed number (free and reduced multiplier needs to go away). Can't do 'by # of players' cause that can be 'doctored' by schools when the data is needed. Should just go back to A, B & 9-man (& 6-man for those schools who want to do so)

I think the big A schools should go AA to make that class bigger and the big 9 man schools move up to A? Seems like a lot of 9 man teams even with the coops. Cavalier should have never went 9 man with the program they have. Shiloh should also be A. Or like you said get rid of AA the bigger schools go AAA and the smaller go to A?

I had started a thread about Numbers and such....but one can do it here too...

Never should have elected to?
Or never should have been able to?

From my understanding the NDHSAA puts you where you belong according to your enrollment. However, schools can “opt” up if they want. I also believe enrollment is the only true way to make the divisions and agree with run that the free and reduced multiplayer needs to go away. Count all the boys in the school as part of the enrollment.
As for the game, good luck to both teams this Friday.
