Napoleon star QB is out of the game. So unfortunate NGS is the better team but not without him.

Is he "out", or just not playing right now?

he never came back in. Radio said they "carted" him off. Radio speculated ankle or knee injury.

Cavalier wins 36-34 but if Nap quarterback not hurt it would have been a different outcome.

Refs won that for Cavalier. A ref standing five feet from the play calls an interception and refs 20 yards away reverse it. Cavalier scores a few plays later and wins the game Absolutely crap

You must not have seen the play like I did on the side line. The cavalier receiver had the ball all the way through until he hit the ground and the Napoleon defender tried to rip it out of his hands at the very end after his back was on the ground. That would be like a running back running the ball and a defensive line man trying to take the ball after he was down. The way I saw it the receive had control of the ball until he was down. The game had awful calls from the beginning and neither team deserved that. I’m happy that both teams played their hearts out and the way that no one gave an inch. Hard fought game and I’m proud of the imperials. Way to fight until the end!

FWIW, I didn't see the game, but I listened on the radio. As the play happened the guy said Cavalier caught the ball.

I was standing by the fence directly in front of where the play occurred. Hardje #24 for Cavalier had possession all the way to the ground while peddling backwards. NGS player pulls ball out after Harje was already down. I cant even begin to explain why ref called INT on that play. White hat comes over and says No No boys! He was down. Completion!!

Hey Browning, do you think Cavalier benefited from every call that was made on Saturday? Please answer, I'm being sincere. Thanks.

A more important question might be why were there so many bad calls by the refs. I thought playoff games got the best of the best for Refing. It is amazing how some refing teams can be so bad and the next are really good.

sometimes the refs are more nervous than the players

Cavalier over MPCG--34-14.

Nice game by the kids today. Cavalier's defense was clicking today. They had some very nice plays all the way around. MPCG sure didn't go down without a fight. They played tough. They had a very nice kick off return that sparked their team. Cavalier responded well, kept a sharp defense, some nice plays in the backfield causing some key fumbles that turned into Tornado scores. What a nice place to play football. Hats off to MPCG, nice season, good game. Cavalier was looking good today.

Feels like the loss to Larimore has turned Cavalier's season around. I don't think anyone would be surprised to see them beat Napoleon. I still think Napoleon would be favored if vegas had a line on the game.

Turned their season around??? They then beat a 1 and 7 team they got destroyed by New Rockford then beat a 6&3 team and your saying that’s a turnaround. Sorry can’t see it. Unless Napoleon beats themselves or has another injury like last year and the year before the senior Tornadoes are playing in their last game.

The game they were "destroyed" was tied at halftime. It was NRS's only competitive game this season. Beat the #10 QRF team by 20 on the road. IDK, seems decent.

Like in what way could a team beat themselves? I think the Cavalier vs Napoleon game will be right down to the wire. Cavalier was far from being destroyed by New Rockford Sheyenne. I am hoping for both sides to make it out of the game injury free. Most people thought MPCG would walk all over Cavalier, and that wasn't the case, so I for sure will not count the Tornadoes out of this one.

How many beers did you have before typing this brilliant post? NR was on their heels until the middle of the third qtr....Does NGS beat themselves often? Don't use an injury as an excuse for a teams failure to win a playoff game!!!!
