Then it’ll be a lot of fun in the Dome on the 9th...Thompson/NSGU would be the ‘dream’ scenario for a shootout

I think there is a chance Shiloh is the 2nd best team in the state.

They wouldn't be in the top 5 if they were in the East. Fagerland is tough but not alot of other standouts. Nsgu is really good but West is really down this year, not trying to offend anyone imho

I would say in regards to NSGU that if they have 13-14 Seniors it would play in big to their Dominance during this season.....it doesn't happen often in 9-man, although just last year W/L lived the same scenario....I would go on to say had they (nsgu) played a Napoleon/G/S (why this game wouldn't take place?) or lets say a New Rockford, then a better gauge could be set in reference to their capabilities to playing whats left in the east....with that said, they hit the 60 mark a few times......

and they have deep playoff experience. Lost in the championship 2 years ago and the semi-finals last year.

Roll cows!
Anyone know what radio station the NSGU game will be broadcast on?
I take it there will be nothing live on the net to watch it?

New Salem-Glen Ullin def. Ray/Powers Lake 18-7
Thompson def. Oakes 38-7

Games took on a reversal from predictions: NSGU has a close game and Thompson had running time.

Hats off to ray powers lake. What a class act of a football team. What a grind it was today. We'll prepared team that came up short. Hats off to the holsteins for digging down and goin to fargo. This is gonna be a shootout in the dome. Holsteins 48 to 42 in a offensive shootout.

Just wondering if there were any major injuries for the winning teams. This looks like the makings of a great game/major shootout. I actually give Nsgu a chance of ending the West losing streak. Not sure but I think it is at least 10 years. I think it will serve the Holsteins well that they had a test before the championship. I think turnovers will decide this one.

I was at the Thompson/ Oakes game, and it appeared like the THS squad avoided any significant injuries.

I've said all year that NSGU is the team to beat in 2018. Both of these teams are very well coached and it'll come down to a few key plays. They'll be milking cows when it's all done in the Dome and I'll take NSGU 40-28.
