Who are you predicting as the best potential upsets? You have pick the teams with the higher seeds in each game, that seems to easy.

I am hoping for an upset in the Grant Co - Flasher vs WNG. But that is the Football Mom talking.

What's with the discrepancy with the number of games played?

I've seen 1 game differences....8 vs. 9

But how does Cavalier only have 7 games?

Cavalier's region only had 8 teams in it (plus Drayton/Valley-Edinburg playing a JV schedule).

Other regions have 9 (regions 1 & 4) or 10 teams (region 3) and per NDHSAA rule you can have no more than 9 games in the regular season.

Pretty ridiculous of the NDHSAA to rule in favor of Shiloh Christian having the game played at 6pm because of "construction issues." Won't go quite into detail yet on what really is going on

I really don't see what the issue would be for a later start time. Each team is used to playing at 7pm all season long so I would rather play at that same time during the playoffs, too. Plus it should actually benefit St John for not having to leave around 7am in the morning to get to Bismarck for a 1 or 2pm game.

The team had plans of going the night before and staying in a hotel room like we always have on these trips to the south west,. Now a hotel room is useless and got a long drive back home and no one wants to stay there that night or the night before. Who wants to sit on a bus for four hours and play a game in an hour or two? no one. 2pm was the original start time and should have stayed that way. BTW the reasoning for rescheduling was because of construction Issues. That being the case the game could have been played at Mandan or St. Mary's or anywhere else. Its more of an inconvenience for us and an inconsideration on their part.

I see no issues...you get home-field, you get the right to have it on your field. If they are finishing something near the field that's a safety hazard then I understand the switch.

Teams deal with travel issues all the time. When you earn home-field you can schedule the game when you want it to be.

This is PLAYOFF SEASON. Whole new entity. One or two injuries, and your team is down. I WOULD NOT put anything past Lamoure. Thielges or Olson will find the endzone somehow, I will guarantee it.

I'm over this but just wanna clarify what the issue is. The supposed construction issue is not the real reason for the time change. The superintendent's daughter has a cross country meet in Valley City and they rescheduled for that reason so that there could be "supervision" at the game. Our little hicktown must need to be babysat. Funny that a christian school would lie about something like that. The game was originally scheduled for 2 and they changed it to 6 on us and the NDHSAA voted 10-1 in favor of Shiloh, wow.

A couple years ago didn't Rugby have 6 students in football and cross country and they had to chose one or the other during the playoffs?

Anyways its done and over with and I am predicting Regions 1 and 3 to sweep on saturday.
