Is the East really down this year?  Looks like the poll (including also rec. votes) is heavy on Central/West teams.

Yeah...I guess I'm still caught in the "Old regions".   But then I guess Harvey was in the East also.  Disregard my stupidity.

harvey might be in the top five next week after scoring 73 runs in the first half of their game vs. dunseith last night

Didn't Dunseith give up like 70 3 or 4 times last year though?  I don't think that it is worth saying scoring that many points will put harvey in the poll.  Even if it does, who cares, still have to win in the playoffs.  That region is stacked and you just never know.

Its the 2nd week of the season and just because someone puts their 2 cents in you have to bust out the playoffs?  It was a thought who he felt should be in the top five, he didnt say they were going to win the State Championship.

dunseith was one of the worst teams i have ever seen, our varsity scored 60-some points in the first half, i doubt we'll be in the top 5 because dunseith is probably the worst team in the state, aaa, aa, a or nine man, but it's a very good possibility that we'll move up

Sorry Poweraid 14, just kind of saying the poll doesn't matter and that scoring that on Dunseith isn't that big of an accomplishment but I didn't mean anything by it.  Just not a big fan of the polls I guess..

I think the polls do a pretty good job for the most part. They really don't change unless a team in the top 5 loses. So i really don't think you'll see any change to it this until somebody loses.

looking around at the regions and the rankings i would say instead of lamoure i would put linton at number 4 and lidgerwood at number 5.  lamoure is good but can they stay consistent. they are small in size compared to most teams in their region. The top 4 teams in that region shut out thier opponents last week.
