I am not familiar with Purintun and Drevlow but I have seen Hager play numerous times. Hager is a truely remarkable football player. As a running back he has incredible moves and sprinter speed. He is an excellent receiver and is as good as they come playing either safety position and returning punts and kickoffs. He is an outstanding talent and most certainly should be selected to play in the Shrine and Mon-Dak Bowl games.

i don't think that Hager should play in the Mon-Dak Bowl. I mean he is a great running back but didn't do as good against some of the top teams in his region. I do believe however he should be selected to the Shrine game along wit Purintun and Drevlow. Hopefully MPCG and Park River can see 3 or 4 seniors go :D

It is difficult for me to understand your logic. I donot know if you actually attended any of the games that Hager played in. Bearing in mind that he played on a very average team, all teams that played Larimore would put at least eight players in the box on defense, kick the ball away from him and he still gained over l00 yards against the top teams. Unless you watched him on a regular basis, trust me, Hager is as good as they come in North Dakota highschool football at all levels. He most certainly belongs on the Mon-Dak Bowl team.

Hager is the real deal. He can play on any team of mine. Also, the Kyllo kid from MPCG was sneaky good. Drevlow should make the MonDak game and is a shoe-in for the Shrine game. Same goes for Purintun from Linton.

Harvey's qb is more likely making it playin at linebacker than at qb

Weidler would probably be playin at linebacker even though he could probably play fullback too, Jesperson is big enough that he could play on either side of the ball and Kuntz would probably at widereciever

Ya, jesperson is big enough to play on both sides of the ball but do you think he has all the other skills needed to play in either of these games? It takes more than just size

I think Jesperson also has the skill to play on either side of the ball. Hes probably one of the top lineman in the state and I'm still kinda shocked that he didn't make first team all state

from what i saw hagar might be a backup shine player but not quite the talent the mondak team will be looking for.

How many times did you see Hager play and who is any better??? If the talent of the North Dakota team in the Mon-Dak Bowl is such that Hager is not good enough to even make the team, then ND should win hands down and to state that he "might be a backup player in the Shrine game" is simply ludicrous. You obviously did not see him play on a regular basis.

Hager was selected by the coaches to play both ways at the Shrine and was also a selection for the Mondak. Obviously the coaches of high school football in north dakota saw something in Hager that you failed to see Hook.

Mon-Dak is in Miles City MT on June 20th due to Whitney Stadium in Dickinson being renovated; Shrine game is in Grand Forks on July 18th.

It was July 12th in 2008; my son got an invite and can't compete as it is the same time as the National High School Finals rodeo in Farmington, NM (starts July 19th); too far apart to compete in both!! He also can't compete in the Mon-Dak because it is during the state HS rodeo finals. :(
