Game of the week
HWC @ LEM- Pretty excited for this one. I love what Bret Dockter and Co are doing down in Harvey this year. They’ve always been a solid team but this year they’ve taken it to another level. I think both team matchup well skill wise so I think the game will be won in the trenches. The last regular season loss the Cardinals had was at home against Larimore in 2016. I’m going to pick the Cardinals at home 20-16.

Games I'm Interested In This Week:

- Lisbon @ Central Cass: This is one of those games where two tough teams meet. One team coming off a state championship appearance last year and one of the big dogs that moved down. These are the types of games where we see what type of separation there is between those top teams. Lisbon is very good up front and runs the ball very well. Central Cass is coming off a game where it sounds like they were kind of taken advantage of up front but have a huge depth advantage over Lisbon. I project this shows the difference between those AA teams and the A teams. Central Cass wins 34 to 16.

- Harvey @ Langdon: Harvey's only loss is to HCV and watching that game I think they probably should have won it. It being in Langdon is a big deal but I think it comes down to turnovers and who has the ball last. It's an interesting matchup because Langdon has big game experience obviously but doesn't have many seniors (especially at skill positions). Harvey isn't on a 40+ game win streak but does have a lot of seniors at important positions. I don't think it has happened been the case in about 4 years but I'm not sure Langdon is the better passing team in this matchup but they run the ball really well with those two big RBs. I think Harvey finds a way to turnover the Cardinals a couple times and wins a really close one 28 to 20.

Yes Lisbon with 45 players should be a small school and CC needs to be a big school..... LOl. I think CC will score on Lisbon but I don't think CC defense can stop the run the way they play. They look for the Tackle for loss and not stopping the play for a 2 or 3 yard gain.
