Most interesting matchups:
- Lisbon @ Linton: Lisbon is real deal up front. They do a great job of running schemes that maximize their powerful line. Linton has had a nice start to 11 man save the tough game with Kindred last week. I think Lisbon wins a close one 20 to 14.
- Carrington @ Grafton: Grafton has one of the best players in the state at running back but haven't been able to maximize that this year behind shaky line play. Carrington is physical and does a nice job wearing you down with that double wing option offense. Could be a battle to determine playoff teams in region 2. I think Carrington wears them out and wins late 21 to 14.
- Shiloh @ Trinity: Two traditionally strong programs. I don't know a lot about these two teams but the names alone are intriguing. I expect a good battle early with Trinity winning by a couple scores late 35 to 20.

CC Walks Oaks. I thought Oaks would be way better than they are. They have tradition in that town but looks like it will be a tough year for Oaks.
Kindred walks EEk. Kindred has lots of weapons and a very strong defense but they have been giving up big pass plays this year.
Linton HMB SZ..... will be take down Lisbon. Lisbon is tough but I think Linton plays with a lot of pride and heart. Although Linton needs to stop putting their best lineman on the side they are running too.... Maybe that works in 9 man but not in 11
Sargent County takes down Oak Grove. OG battles but just not the number of kids to fill out a complete roster.
Carrington Rolls Grafton. It does not seem like Grafton is playing with Heart. A few bad plays and it seems like the team is not competing. Hopefully that changes for them shortly

Watched the Lisbon - Linton-HMB game on BEK Friday night. Impressed with Lisbon's athleticism and unimpressed with Linton's. This may be the weakest group of "skill players" that Linton has had in quite a while. I see Linton struggling at the 11 man level this entire season.
