What was the point of this comment? It's completely irrelevant to the discussion, and makes you look ridiculous.
Congrats to the Cardinals. There were subtle clues throughout the season as to how good they were.
1. Scored most of their points in the first half. Running clock second halves until the Carrington game.
2. Beating Carrington in Carrington. Tough place to play and a long trip, to boot. It would have been great to be on the sideline for this one.
Then, in the playoffs,
3. Had to adjust their style of play to the weather against Kindred. Yeah, they were down 7-6 into the second half but they controlled that game after their first touchdown. Kindred had a couple of long runs but that's about all they did offensively.
4. Flipped the script in the second half against Bowman County.
Hate to say it but I didn't go to a single HS game this season. I found myself tuning into Jake Kulland and the Cardinals most Friday nights at work--so that's how I followed along. It's great to see another Northeast ND team come out on top in Class A.
I thought they'd beat HCV after 3 impressive playoff wins. Glad I was right.
