For those that have seen Langdon and Larimore are they comparable or Larimore quite a bit better? By the posts in the forum it seems most believe Larimore is quite a bit better.

I have seen them both play and in my opinion it isn't even close. Larimore is leaps and bounds better. They are more rounded, have the best 2 probably 4 of the best 5 players of those two schools, and have no major holes if they stay healthy. Langdon is a really good team but Larimore is the best team in the state and I don't believe there is really anyone close to them.

Langdon is a good football team, that is going to be even better next year. Larimore is a great football team that has no competition in the "A" ranks.

I agree. Langdon will be the team to beat next year.
I think this year though Larimore will make Langdon a pass only team. Langdon has a good passing game but won't have enough to beat Larimore this year.

I like that PRFL dropped out of the polls. Just like two years ago. :) Under the radar is better. Two years ago PRFL was going to lose every playoff game. Go back on this site and see. That's why I love this site. We can go back and see how stupid we are.

PRFL may be an OK team. But they are not that good. Plenty of teams out there that I have seen play that are more rounded.

Go back two years and see what everyone was saying about PRFL. NOTHING!!! not in the polls. You might eat your words!. I see a Larimore/ PRFL rematch, and the winner takes STATE! IMO.

Too bad Harvey will beat Park River next week for that final playoff spot.

Two years ago was exactly that. Two years ago. Unless you have the same exact players, doesn't make any sense. Harvey also is not mentioned in the polls and had a good team years ago. So, Harvey wins next week.

To many upperclassmen and coaches. PR won't be able to beat them.

PR has Jackson Hankey, Omlie and not a lot else after they lost their all-state lineman. Unless Harvey can pass well though, I think Hankey will carry them to the playoffs.

Oh my! I'm not sure with that many upperclassmen I don't know how any one could beat them! I guess it already been said but with 16 seniors coming out next year we don't have any reason to play the season. How could anyone expect to beat a team with 16 seniors???  8) 8) 2017 Champs! There I went out on a limb. I kid of course. Good luck to everyone that's why we play the games.

Langdon has one senior this year and they are pretty good. But do they have a chance against Larimore? I hope they win but I can't see it happening. Harvey will be good with 16 juniors coming back next year. But Langdon will be the team to beat. 8 coaches really? Is this Texas little league football?

PRFL has their all-state lineman back. They also have their junior running back playing that was out for surgery. This will be his first game playing and they also have their senior running back playing who was out since the first game.

Yes, Harvey has approximately 8 coaches. I believe anyone who volunteers gets to coach, they also have alot of experts along the sidelines!

They don't have 8 coaches this year, they have 5. HC+ 4 assistants one of whom calls the offense from the press box.

I've been to every one of their games and trust me, there's 5. Three of those assistants listed on the page are junior high coaches. Don't believe everything the NDHSAA tells you; I figured you knew that by now Schwab

In my experience most junior high coaches do help with varsity in some capacity.

Well the ones in Harvey don't. End of story. So how about we drop this and actually talk about the games?

How many of those coaches are suiting up for the game?
