Since a couple people have mentioned how these are the two big games in the west this week, what does everybody think about them?

I think that all four teams will find out just how good they are. Win or lose. Everyone has played good teams except for Velva(Garr/SR) It will be a big game for them.

Velva has gone from not being mentioned in the polls to #5 on the back of 2 lopsided wins over sub-par teams while Southern McClean is 1-1 vs Region 3. It's a good game to tell 1.) how Velva compares to its region 3 counterparts against a common opponent and 2.) are they truly a top 5 team.

WNG vs Hazen could be a matchup of region 3 and region 4 champs. I suspect Killdeer, Velva, and others may dispute that, but it's intriguing nonetheless. Also both teams competed in a handful scrimmages in Minot in the pre-season and looked to be fairly evenly matched.
