This poll refuses to change. 3 weeks in a row the top 5 have been the same, and in the same order.

So far, there has been no reason to change any of them. Not much will change this weekend either, unless Milnor-North Sargent can hang with Oakes or Hillsboro-Central Valley can hang with Carrington. Carrington will be looking for a little revenge after getting upset last year and Oakes is just darn good so I don't see any changes coming in the poll next week. (I HOPE I'M WRONG!)

Point taken. Why should it change if it has no reason too. Honestly, I'm hoping Hazen gets upset this week (really doubtful, but fingers crossed) and then Hazen beats Killdeer.

Well, this will be a good week in class A football. And yes an upset at Killdeer could happen. Seen each team play once this yr. They have there weaknesses they will have to exploit. Killdeer tough at home, fast, hungry, and 2 wks to prepare for the bison. They want that home field advantage all the way thru. Hazen I heard has a few players banged up and new players at the secondary this yr. Hazen cant have any turnovers in this one. Hazen does play ok on the road tho. Oakes and Carrington will be another good one. "Playoff feel" type games this Saturday. Killdeer get the edge by 12.. Carrington over Oakes at home.

I have a question. Suppose Rugby beats DL-B and Killdeer beats Hazen. Both are region champs, both are undefeated. Then say the both make it to the semifinals which is where they'd first play. Who gets home field? How do you decide that?

Ok then. I was thinking it would be like a coin toss or something like that. Glad to know there is a system in place.

Is the 7th poll the final one, or is there one before going into the playoffs?

Not that it matters, but I think for the final poll, you flop Rugby and Killdeer and maybe move Larimore up to a "tie" with Carrington for 5th. In fact, Killdeer, Carrington and Larimore could be tied for 4th...IMO, those are the best 6 teams in "A"...Be interesting to see how the "points" shake out after the Killdeer and Carrington losses...Final should be out today correct?
