Region 2:
Trey Lovcik-Langdon Munich (kid is a beast, maybe top linebacker in the state)
Chad Jelnick-Park River (plays fast)
Devin Haxton-Harvey (was a stud, but now he is hurt)

Nick Schmitz and Justin Stoltman from Midway-Minto in Region 2 are also a couple of guys that can make some plays.

ya that nick schmitz kid is a physical player(big boy)...PJ Peterson from Larimore makes plays but plays like a stand up D-end so idk if you classify him as a linebacker?....what about the other Regions they have any stand out players?

Devin Haxton has played 2 games this year and in those games you can see his impact of the defense for the HWC hornets. He has the strength, speed and football smarts and play recognition to be an elite linebacker. He would have to be my number one pick in the state.

REGION 1: MVE JR DACOTAH MCGOUGH- HE PLAYS ALL OUT EVERY PLAY, 2ND YEAR AT LINEBACKER. HE IS FAST, STRONG AND KNOW'S HOW TO HIT. DO NOT WANT TO MEET THIS KID IN A HOLE WHEN HE HAS SOME MOMENTUM BUILT UP. AND HE IS ONLY A JR.

No doubt okc fan. i was there park river did an awsome job, blocking him and the rest of the linbackers and d line. falcons still played hard, but park river's scheme worked perfectly. take nothing away from either team. it was the aggies day! falcons are still young, maybe the pressure got to them.

#54 LeBlanc from Heart River is their other ILB. To date he has only two fewer tackles than Obritsch, so HR has a pretty good inside duo.

Does anyone have stats at the end of the regular season on these guys?

I heard on the radio that Trey Lovcik from Langdon/Munich has 75 solo and 55 assisted tackles!

Max Preps has stats, but from what I can tell, they only list stats for teams that actually report them to Max Preps, so I don't think you'll get the whole picture on the stats....

Demarques smith (#55) and hunter fears (#3) of Hazeb are a underestimated duo that are very talented.
