Top RB in the State is without a doubt Seth Ewoniuk from #2-ranked Heart River!

Maverick Symington from Northern Cass is probably the top RB from Region 1
Region 2: ??
Abe Roehrich from Stanley-Powers Lake is probably the top RB from Region 3

Is the kid from heart river the best player in the state do you think?

And when does poll #4 come out?

Best player in Class A for sure...not sure about the whole state though.

Ewoniuk is only about 5-7 and 150 lbs. really fast and also powerful for his size. lots of long runs on cut backs. they run alot of the wing T with counters, traps, etc. he is extremely talented.

Ewoniuk was held under 100 yards in week 3. Im not sure on the exact number of yards but it was about 60.

can't be under 60 if he had a 95 yard TD run...unless the paper was wrong on that

I think if Briar Bornemann wouldnt have been suspended first half of season, he would have given Ewoniuk a run for his money. If you watch both of them run, they are basically the same back. Small, quick, make big plays out of nothing, and fast in open field.

I would really like to see those two go head to head again in the playoffs. It would be a fun game to watch.

Was he held to under 100 yards or did his coach not want to run the score up? In Region 3 Roehrich had a game with only 88 yards but if you looked closer the score was a blow out and he only carried the ball six times.

They had more success running the ball with their other two backs so they got more carries.

Abe Roehrich stats as of last night. 93 attempts for 729 yards and 15 rushing touchdowns. Great hard nosed runner. 3 starting linemen out with injuries.

Coach from Heart River isn't too worried about running up the score.

Roehrich should get more respect here. He rushed for over 250 yds in last years state championship game and could have broken the Dakota bowl record but coach pulled him because game was a blowout. He is an incredible running back that doesn't get the carries late in games because of the score.

Ya Larimore has a quarterback (PJ Peterson)that gets the ball a lot and is physical but isn't very quick or fast...and Chad jelnick from park river is a tough runner.....and Colter Prichard from Langdon-Munich he is small but I think he is comparable to some of the smaller quicker backs in the region
