I think Hankinson is the best team in the state regardless of their one loss. The region they play in is probably the best in the state this year.

I don't know about Region 1 being the best region in the state Region 4 with Killdeer, Williams County, and Stanley/Powers Lake they are no push overs. Region 3 with a pretty good team in Velva, Harvey, and Langdon they aren't any push overs either. Region 2 isn't as strong this year but Larimore is a pretty good team after that its up in the air with Mayville and Northern Cass. Region 1 last year I think was the weakest region in the state, and I don't think in one years time they have the best region in the state. I could be wrong and they might be, but I think some region 2 teams will give them tough time in the playoffs.

I don't know how you can say they're probly the best team. Have them beat anyone in the top 5? The west side of the state has some PRETTY tough teams in Williams County, Stanley, Velva, Harvey, Killdeer.

I have to disagree with that!  Velva is the three time defending champs and have won something like 24 straight!  Until somebody beats them Velva is the best!

Well of course that is untrue, Hankinson was beat by Mayville in the first round of the playoffs on Saturday. I'm thinking a Velva vs. Larimore State championship right now.
