Don't sell Beulah short. They are very good at the skill positions. Doesn't mean they'll win, but I wouldn't write them off.

Not writing Beulah off, just Rugby being home... :D

One will get the first win of the season

Seth Abaurrea had a great game, as stated before 20 carries for 201 yards & his first career touchdown came on an 83 yard run that gave Carrington a 21-14 lead. Cardinals were much better offensively against Trinity than there 2 previous opponent's V.C. & Griggs/Barnes County. Final was 27-21 in OT, Trinity had the ball first & had a great opportunity to score but a dropped pass at the goal line on 3rd down cost them a chance to maybe win. Cgtn. scored on a 5yd TD run from Austin Schuldheisz (10 carries for 57 yds & 2 TD'S) on 2nd & goal. Total yardage, Cgtn approx. 410, Dix. Trin. approx. 270. Very exciting game, thought there were too many penalties called (26 total penalties for 205 yards). Overall Carrington, IMO, outplayed Trinity most of the night, but Trinity capitalized on both Cardinal TO'S in first half & led 14-6 at the break. Trinity had no TO'S either. Not often you'll be a -2 in TO battle & commit 14 penalties (some very questionable) & still win.

Does anyone know if the Bottineau/St. Mary's game will be on the radio?
