Great players play great in Big games, and it didn't seem like any DL players played that great

Anybody else confirm this exact number... because if he runs a 4.5 you would think that he would have been a bigger part of their offense last year.

Yes i believe he runs a high 4.5 or low 4.6.. all of DLs specialists were pretty much seniors

Yes i realize that they were... but if he is really this fast they would find a way to put the ball in his hands on offense. 4.5 is fast in north dakota, and i think the coaches would have gotten the ball more to him then what they did. now i am not saying that this isnt possible, but i am just saying that it is kind of hard to believe.

The coach is calling the plays. If I'm coahching DL, Ben gets the ball 20 times a game.

Yeah i agree he should've maybe got some touches last year just to see what happen.. but if im not mistaken the DL coach is big on seniority and likes playing people who are older and have been there longer, even if that means not playing the best people.. just my opinion

there is at least two kids who run 4.5 in botno... and alot under 5... just because your fast doesn't make you a great player don't get me wrong these kids are good players my point is... just because the kid runs 4.5 doesn't mean he is the almighty running back of ND....

Derek Elliot hit the 1000 yard mark last night.... pretty impressive i believe considering half the time he is not really even in the second half of third quarter and all of fourth

I was at the VC vs. Central Cass game on Friday, and just have a hunch that could VC whole D-Line be on the roster here there is a berg a ndel and dlorme. From what i seen these 3 were awful good, or are they usually not that good? Didnt give the center much time to do anything an the berg kid is a big guy. and why is the qb playing d-end? seems to work i guess

Josh Schank-Beulah over 30 catches for 500 yards and like 8 to 10 TD's and As a DB he has like 5 or 7 INTS and 3 TD's off of them and as a Punt Returner he has about 10 returns and 2 for TD's. His 40 time is between 4.6 and 4.8......so about 4.7 but when he pushes it he is fast.

Josh Shank may be one of the better recievers in AA. He has pretty good hands and decent speed. BUT...from when i have seen him play he is very cocky. He is very lazy when it comes to blocking and I have seen him take plays off when it is not a passing play. Seems like he is more concerned about himself than helping out his teammates at times. He would be a much more complete football player if he gave that extra effort to help his teammates and team out. Also heard he goes by the nickname (correct me if i am wrong) of "ATM" automatic touchdown machine. We will hear about that on tuesday! The Coal Bowl has alot of meaning this year and hopefully we will see a good game to decide who will get the 2 seed out west. Good luck to both teams!

First of all "ATM" i have never heard him called that before. Yes he does take plays off and sometimes gets emotional (cocky) during games, but he helps our team out more than you think hes a good player and he does great things for this football team.

ya he's probably not the almighty running back because he's a "WIDE RECEIVER".... so dont take anything away from ben wolf, he's the almighty "WIDE RECEIVER"

4.5 is really fast. I've seen Bottineau and Devils Lake play this year, Wolf is a great athlete, but there didn't look like there were any 4.5 guys out there. Sounds like Hazen has one too? Hand timing at the local track isn't exactly accurate. Take into account the fastest guys in the NFL run 4.2's. If these guys all run 4.5's there should be a heck of a 100 meter race at the state track meet in May.

Yeah i agree i dont think wolf runs exactly a 4.5 but it has to be pretty close.. I think most people think he is faster than what he actually is because he is so agile and makes so many people miss.. Like on the news the other night when DL played Grafton. it looked like everyone was running in slow motion when he ran that 70 something yard interception back..It looked really crappy out in DL that night and he still made those cuts..He had to have made at leat 5 or 6 guys miss.. Just my opinon on the whole thing
