Valley City student section was unacceptable at the VC-Oak Grove game. However there were many VCSU kids there who created a lot of the chaos too. And the high school kids who were inappropiate were suspended from all athletic activities for 6 months. It is too bad when the success of a team is frowned on because of something they dont have any control over

Valley City has always had really poor sportsmanship through junior high up to the varsity level. I think there new coach is trying to turn that around with his teams sportsmanship, but the crowd is a whole different story.

I was at that game...before the game they were yelling inappropriate comments at the Oak Grove water girls and during the game there were high school and middle school students walking right through the Oak Grove section yelling profanity and other inappropriate comments at the fans, team, and school in general!! It was HORRIBLE sportsmanship!!

There are a few bad apples in every bunch. Lets leave it at that. It's unfortunate when things like that happen, but we shouldn't blame everyone for it. Hopefully those that are guilty, in those situations, are reprimanded.
