I think they are gonna be pretty weak in that area.

DL has a lot of young running backs, and the way things look right now, they will probably use all of them. They return their fullback Mike Wahl, who helps open a lot of holes. They also have Ethan Kleinknecht, a senior with good speed who also starts at saftey. Jason Berg and Kendal Christianson, if he can stay healthy he suffered an ACL tear this year, are both going to be juniors and are tough runners. The wild card is Ben Wolf, he is going to be a junior, and he started last season at RB, but moved to WR at the end. It will be interesting to see what they do with him, especially since DL will have a very weak passing game. Kole Jenson is a very young talent, as he is currently a freshman, but he has the same running style as Ballard, fast and elusive.

Desai will still be playing wide out. Thats one position that will be in a hurt for DL this upcoming season. Desai was their only starting WR that wasnt a senior. It might not be so bad though considering that they'll run the ball less this year anyways.
