Just wondering which guys have commited to which colleges early. Signing day is not until Feburary, but verbals have to be happening by now.

In todays Minot Daily Newspaper i seen that Zac Larson from Minot Ryan is going to go play for Bemidji State Next Year

Where did Ballard play his HS ball? What size, position, etc.?

He's walking on, should have taken a wrestling scholarship if you ask me. He played for Devils Lake, ran well but I don't think he'll do to great playing running back in college, he can't out run those guys like he did in high school.

He's going to play the CB position at UND. At 5'8 175 he's way too undersized to play tailback at the D1 level. I believe he runs a very low 4.5 maybe even a high 4.4, but he'll have enough speed for the postion.

Im not hating on the kid, don't get me wrong... but he didn't play a snap of Defense all season... I guess we'll see what happens

I totally agree with you, but it's quite possible that they see Ballard as a raw defensive talent. That's obviously one of the reasons why he's a walk-on. But he has the speed as I mentioned before, so I believe they'll take it from there.
