St. Mary's hitting on all cylinders right now.

BSM is a very good team but I would not say they are better than anyone else. Kindred just played that bad with Injuries, turnovers, bad penalties and poor tackling. Into the 4th quarter it was 21 to 0 and Kindred had 2 touchdowns taken off the board because of holding calls....

They are definitely better than Kindred.

Yes... BSM was better than Kindred but they should be.... they are a Class A school. They have more players and they select their kids from a big population. They only have a few kids going both ways and special teams. The class B towns like... HCV, Kindred, Beulah, Hazen ETC... have most of their kids going both ways and when they get injured... it makes a huge difference in the games... I have said all year that BSM has depth all the way around and can take a handful of injuries.... where the other top teams in the state can not.

I always giggle at statements like these. Would they have ever gotten into the end zone if the team had not committed a penalty and held the defense in the first place? You might as well say that Kindred had 65 TD's taken off the board because they ran 65 plays that would have been TD's except BSM made tackles, forced incomplete passes, or pushed someone out of bounds resulting in them not crossing the goal line... But if it wasn't for that they would have been TD's for sure!

I didn't see one freshman on BSM's roster. I saw 16 on Hazens (same number of players as BSM) roster. Not many freshman are going to be able to contribute in AA football.

I think they've done that for competitive balance, to give some of the smaller A schools a chance. I don't agree with the necessarily, but I think that's why they did it.

There isn't a fair and good solution in ND. 4 classes -- one with 12 teams and one with 16... seems crazy...but if we went to 3 classes, some schools would have no prayer of competing with best teams.

Its just "ND Football". Its the way it is.

Schools with biggest problems finding the "right size" class to be in....

Put em with Fargos and Bismarcks, they are too small.

Put em in a class with "their own size" and ...you've got about 3-5 schools.

Giggle all you want. I am not saying Kindred would have won. They were not deep enough. By the way there is a hold on every play.... it depends on if they get called or not. If you don't think there was a hold or two on BSM touchdowns..... you are wrong.... there was..... every play.... that is football....

I could care less if there was holding on the BSM TD's or on Kindred's. The fact of the matter was that they were called. PS- I would have won the lottery last week except the numbers on my ticket weren't picked.
