Valley City beat Devils Lake 6-0
Devils Lake beat Turtle Mountain 27-8 (17 max)
Turtle Mountain beat Valley City 28-14

So H2H they would be 1-1 against each other

Point Differential
Devils Lake (-6) + 17 = +11
Turtle Mountain (-17) + 14 = -3
Valley City (-14) + 6 = -8

Devils Lake would be in the driver's seat via the point differential tiebreaker
Then back to H2H would have TMCHS in over Valley City

Actually two of them would make the playoffs so they have to use one set of criteria to determine 5 seed then another set to see who 6 seed is.

Look at the post again...DL gets in as 5, TM as 6

Barring any late-season upsets, this is exactly how it would turn out. The question then becomes is there a possible upset out there? Devil's Lake has Jamestown next week, and Valley City host Central Cass the last week of the year for a possible playoff berth.

If I have this figured out correctly, Devils Lake has clinched a playoff birth regardless of the outcome of their game versus Shanley. They would be the 5 seed if Valley City loses to Central Cass, they would be the 6 seed if Valley City beats Central Cass.

Turtle Mountain currently hold the tie breaker over Valley City and is the 6 seed pending the outcome of the Valley City/Central Cass game.

Valley City, win and you're in, lose and you are out.
