#1 vs #2 in a rematch of last years state championship. I can't help but notice that everybody so far is picking Shanley, myself included. Does Grafton have a chance? What's everyone's thoughts on this early season matchup?

I expect a close game...with Shanley coming out on top. Score Prediction: 27-20

This is gonna be one of those grinder smash mouth game. It's a shame there has to be a loser in this one. I'll take Shanley with home field by 4

Grafton just doesn't have the scoring power of last year. Defensively, they seem to be doing fine, but if they are going to beat Shanley it will have to be low scoring. If Shanley puts up 20 points, I think Shanley wins. If Grafton can hold Shanley to two touchdowns or less they have a shot. I predict Grafton to score more points off defense and special teams than they do on offense.
