FARGO - Senior running back Tyler Rivard ran for 134 yards and three touchdowns to lead No. 5 Fargo Shanley to a convincing 37-6 North Dakota Class 2A victory against No. 1 Wahpeton at Sid Cichy Stadium.

The Deacons improved to 3-2. Wahpeton drops to 4-1.

I've heard Mark Koble of Minot Ryan didn't play the whole first half in the Ryan/Bottineau game. Anyone have any idea why this was?

is that why the score was so lopsided? what did minot ryan do for the running game then? without fugere and koble their offense must not have had much and is mark kobles injury going to be a few weeks or how long will he be out?

They went to the passing game. but did miss koble there too, he is a big target and good althlete. koble should be expected to play next week as it is more of a nagging issue. Fugue could be out tho not sure about the ejection rules and if it is appealable.
