I would agree that Tyler Koenig was the best player out of North in the past 15 years, but NOT Dobmeier at South!! Chris Gardner was the best player ever to come out of South... period!!

I would say Jade Jahner for Fargo North. Others: Nick Jacobsen and Jeff Boschee for Shanley and Valley City, Travis Mertens for Devils Lake, Kenny Younger for Minot, Kiel LaFountain for Belcourt (should have been Mr. Basketball his senior season or at least a finalist), Casey Schmitz for Williston, Hunter Reinke for Wahpeton, Justin Cross for Jamestown, Travis Sturdevant for Century, Chuck Archambeault for Bismarck, and Scott Maijchack for West Fargo. Sorry don't know much about other Class A schools.

I agree 100%. Dobmeier simply doesn't compare to Gardner. Gardner was "only" about 6'6" or 6'7", but played much bigger. He was probably the best shot blocker I've ever seen in the state of North Dakota.

Not sure who those other two are but my vote is either Hunter Reinke who went on to start at UND or Jared Keaveny who wenton to start at Southwest State MN.
As far as the rest- Chris Gardner over Dobmier definately and agree with everyone else.

Williston High - Brian Qvale (will be when he graduates), next is James Hennessey
Century - Travis Sturdevant after him hmmm, Josh Maslowski
Dickinson High - Lucas Moorman , then Shawn Gabbert (could be Tate Kick)

St. Mary's - Tom Verdow
Mandan - Has there been one - Randall Yochim or Ben Schmitz
Valley City - Jeff Boschee , then Tyrone Terry
Fargo Shanley - Nick Jacobson or Dan Dahl or Shevy Akason
Jamestown - Again has there been one, Justin Cross, Jason Bitz
Fargo South - Adam Dobmeier
Fargo North - Tyler Koenig with Eric Erdman trailing
Wahpeton - Hunter Reinke, but Jared Keaveny a close second

Even tho Verdouw won a state championship and started one more year than Mark Reidinger, I would still put Reidinger as the best to ever come out of St. Mary's. He crushed the state single season blocks record and I believe career blocks too.

I'd go with Crag Nelson for MPCG, he was just so fundamentally sound and was money from the free throw line. I don't know his stats from the free throw line but he didn't miss many.
