I have watched Whitney Meier(All State), Pat Smykowski (All State), Rebecca Fiekert (All State), Rachel Otto (All State), and Lisa Herner-Jenkins is the best of them all. At 40 she can still show up at pickup games and show most of us men up. She finds a way to score and is one of the best passers I've ever seen, man or woman

Rebecca Fiekert isnt in this category. She wouldnt make the top 5 player all time for her own region.
With players like Lisa Herner, Ruthie Dockter, Andrea Ronderos, Kari Wilcox, Maren Loe, Emily Shilhanek etc.

I think she would make top 5. She was good enough to claim Miss BB and go on to play at a DI school.
You can't say that for Ruthie, Andrea, Maren, Emily or Kari.

In my opinion, it's a toss-up between Herner and Fischer. I don't think Fischer's scoring title will ever be broken. How in the heck did she score all those points?? Herner was probably the better all-around player though, she could score, assist, and play some aswesome D.

Speaking of Fieckert, has anyone ever heard how her college career is going. (or went)?

jtdc492, if memory serves me right, Ruthie Dockter was also Miss Basketball, and she led her team to state three times, (maybe four). She might not be one of the five best players ever, but she was better than Fieckert. Dockter had alot of other horses on her teams and still excelled. Fieckert shot everytime she touched the ball because she was all Sheridan County had, and her teams went nowhere. Dockter had many opportunities to continue her bb career after HS, but chose not to. Besides, she tore her ACL in her final game at the state tourney and that cemented her decision to call it quits.

I don't disagree with some of what you said, except to say that Rebecca can shoot the 3 and has an inch or 2 on Ruthie. I don't think Ruthie was as good beyond the arc. Ruthie would've/could've had a fine Div. II career. Also, because Ruthie had some horses with her teams couldn't key on her like they did Rebecca.

Leier Sisters? Michelle and Ranelle. Was one better than the other? I think Ranelle, the dark haired one was the better of the two.
Waldol sisters from Beach? What does anyone know about them?

Wanda Schwab is no doubt one of the top 5 girls in ND history. Have to list her before the Leiers.
