It wasn't the point of the post and I wasn't going to say it, but of the teams that are still in Jr Gold, Crosby is definetly at the top of the list. That impressive string, only topped by Minot, was a result of playing in the Canadian leagues, and I'm sure Minot also played a lot of Canadian teams, if not in a league. Grand Forks has an impressive record as well, but does anyone know the club history between North and South, the single team in the 90's and current?

It's kind of pointless debating best single team or season, but a little history is good for perspective.

Thanks for the history on the league. It is interesting to see how some of those teams are now in the NDHSAA High School League and how some have faded out of the club scene all together. Kudos to the teams that have been able to hang on throughout the years. I noticed Aberdeen in the standings, ND used to let a South Dakota team play also??

I suppose it's not much different than letting Sidney, MT play now. ND was probably closer than any other team in their state.

It's a Long Season, crazy things happen, anyone can win any game, that's why they play them out.
