In all likelihood, it won't make a bit of difference who the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th seed from the West is.
They will, as is their custom, all lose to eastern teams in the first round of the state tournament.

not necessarily. during the regular season we saw dl lose to jamestown, who was the number three seed going into the wda tournament, 7-4. since then jamestown has been eliminated. i could see the winner of the west taking the east's fourth seed down.

Point well taken. But beyond that, I see very little chance of the Western teams having any success against the East.

I agree
I think the west will get swept in the first round at state once again.
Bismarck or Minot might sneek past the first round if they play DL, but thats it.
It would be nice to see a couple of west teams make it to the semifinals and possibly the championship.
The east has more depth and flat out better teams compared to the west, Thats obvious.

Bismark pulled out a close one against minot. Hillman played lights out, but it looked like minot got ripped off when they called off a tieing goal with 5 seconds left.

why didnt kyle haugeneau(sp) play against minot? They might have done better with him in net.
