Are the dates on these postings accurate, or have there been more current postings since last hockey season?

Yeah, they are correct. When I created the sub-forums, I just went through and moved a few topics to each subforum that dealt only with that region. If the topic was not specific to either region I left it in the main hockey forum.

Basically it was just a jump start for each forum. With the HS hockey season upon us we will have to start some relevant topics.

First games don't start until the end of the month or later, so I don't expect much activity based on the fact that there isn't much to speculate on.
