The red hot GPR showed up at the first 2 minutes of the game. Then Fargo South became the red hot team. Seemed like they actually decided to play as a team tonight, and players that didn't seem to be trying their hardest are putting a lot more in. Looks like South is showing up for tournament time. (They only took a whole season off)

did south switch their lines up? just wondering because i heard some of the goal/assist combos were a little different than they usually are.

They tried several different combos they were on their game offensively (some very pretty goals and passing) and defensively they were equally as good. Very impressed by south for one of the first times all year.  Still a little worried about Deichart though.  They may need to score a lot of goals to beat RR.

South has been switching their lines up all year it seems. Diechert is the only thing that game that seems to need improvement for South to have a good chance at a second state title against RR. One of GPR's goals was from Diechert not being ready, which was in those first 2 minutes of the game, I believe. Can't give opportunities like that to RR, or it'll be a long night for South.

Fargo South over Red River 2-1.

Been 2 hours, surprised I was first to update... good game, lots of emotion after the first few minutes of the game, including 3 pipes, numerous huge hits by both teams, and even a penalty shot.

Both goalies played incredible games.
