10 years ago (1996): MINOT - Third-ranked St. Mary's outlasted No. 2 Minot for a 16-13 victory at Duane Carlson Stadium. Saints quarterback Derrick Eichele gave St. Mary's the go-ahead score with a 1-yard plunge with 7:10 to go in the game. Eichele also hooked up with wideout Tim Olson for a 28-yard scoring strike in the second quarter. Luke Shafer led the Saints with 166 yards rushing.
