Not sure of the teams that will be attending, but believe that Oak Grove and MWL will make good showings.

Oak Grove is down this year...probably won't be at full strength until the outdoor season.

Teams that will be at the meet are:
Milnor-Wyndmere-Lidgerwood
Sargent County
Central Cass
Kindred
Oak Grove
Richland
Hankinson

Here are my thoughts on who should make a good showing for Central Cass. Most of the varsity girls BB players are just starting practice this week, so not sure how they will all fit in the mix.

60 yards
(G) Paige Slemmons - JR (made finals in state indoor, placed 7th)
(G) Gabby Grommesh - FR (made finals in state indoor, placed 9th)
(B) Jalen Ham – SR (made finals at state indoor, placed 2nd – first year running full season of track, should do very well)

220 yards
(G) Paige Slemmons – JR (7th at state indoor)
(G) Gabby Grommesh - FR
(B) Jalen Ham – SR (2nd at state indoor)

440 yards
(G) Taylor Heisler – 8, but Kindred girls will dominate this race.
(B) Ken Toah – SR (5th at state indoor)

880 yards
(G) Reilee Ruliffson - SO, Taylor Heisler - 8
(B) Casey Flick - SR (2nd at state indoor)
(B) Michael Utt - JR

1 mile/2 mile
(B) Kyle Schultz – FR (6th at state indoor in 1 mile)
(B) Casey Flick – SR (top 20 at state cross country this year, so could probably do well in any of the distance events)

60 hurdles
---
Pole Vault
---

Shot Put
(G) Courtney Dixon - JR (2nd at state indoor – threw 38-02.25!)

Long Jump/High Jump
(B) Zach Buntrock - SR (8th at state indoor in long jump)
(B) Ben Sundquist – JR (been out of it a year due to injury but hopefully will do well)

4x1 lap relay
(G) Grommesh, Slemmons, Stroh, Steen - 6th at state indoor
(B) Could have a great team with Ham in it

Mile relay
(G) Kindred has this wrapped up, not sure if CC will run it, but possible
(B) Should be able to put together a good team

2 mile relay
(G) Not sure if CC will run it, but possible with some young runners
(B) Should do well if Zimmerman, Utt, Schultz, etc. run it

Kindred wins the girls
Sargent County for the boys

I think the Central Cass boys have a shot at the title this year.

The Boys title will be tight this year: Sargent County, MWL, Kindred and Central Cass will all be battling for it.
The Girls title should go to Kindred but Sargent County's girls would be my sleeper.

Congratulation to the MWL Boys and Girls teams for taking the Conference Indoor... A shout out to MWL senior Kelly Illies - taking 1st place in 4 events.

Yes congrats to both teams...I do however have to wonder how close Sargent County's boys would have been had they not been missing some of their upperclassmen for a trip out east. The close race in the boys intrigues me for the Outdoor meet!

Run - agree with you - it would have been an interesting meet - they might have stole a few points from MWL and would have definitely gained some had they been full strength...

Sargent County would have had the potential to score 20-25 more points with Hansana, Enderson and Greenmyer there...that would have made things so much more interesting.
