Old Track Records

How would I go about finding stats for ND state track and field awards/records from way back, as in 1960-66?

I would go to the Heritage Center Historical Archives. They have all the newspapers from the beginning of the state to the present. Fargo Forum, Minot Daily, Bismarck Tribune and Grand Forks Herald would have the results in them. They are are open weekdays and the second Saturday of each month.
