Congratulations goes out to Laura Roesler and the Bismarck 4x8 boys team today!

Yesterday, Laura Roesler went out and made history at the Howard Wood Relays becoming only the 4th person in the history of the meet to win 3 special events in 3 years. Roesler ran in the 800 meter special event and won with a time of 2:05.76 giving her the fastest high school girls time in the Nation. She also broke the women's stadium record--both high school and collegiate--by two seconds.

The Bismarck High boys 4x800 relays also went out and made history on Friday. The team made up of Lucas Degree, Jake Miller, Josh Hintz and Brandon Barnes ran a 7:46.08 to win the AA race. Their time is the 4th fastest time in the Nation! Brandon Barnes anchored the relay running a 1:52.6!! Their time also broke a 40 year old meet record (old record 7:52.54), the North Dakota All-Time record and the school record.

8:00 - Wiest, Brownotter and Leingang of Bismarck will run the BOYS 3200 meter run
8:00 - Bennes, Reiner and Friedt of Bismarck will compete in the GIRLS long jump
9:30 - Wiegel of Bismarck will compete in the GIRLS discus throw
10:00 - Wahlund and Hornecker of Minot, Beehler and Pintar of Bismarck and Lachowitzer of South will run the GIRLS 3200 meter run
12:00 - Bismarck, Minot and South will run the GIRLS 4x200 relays
1:00 - Dockter of South, Bennes, Friedt and Hruby of Bismarck will compete in the GIRLS triple jump
2:00 - Bismarck will run the BOYS 4x200 relay
2:30 - Bismarck, Minot and South will run the GIRLS 4x100 relays
3:00 - Huether of Minot will run the GIRLS 300 Hurdles
3:20 - Neumiller of Bismarck will run the BOYS 300 Hurdles
5:45 - Hintz of Bismarck will run in the BOYS 1600 meter run
6:00 - Hornecker of Minot, Bostrom of South and Beehler of Bismarck will run in the GIRLS 1600 meter run
6:25 - Moser of Bismarck and Zietz of South will run in the GIRLS 100 meter Hurdles
6:45 - Milbrath of Minot will run in the GIRLS 100 meter dash FINALS
6:55 - Degree and Barnes of Bismarck will run in the BOYS 1600 meter run FEATURE race
7:05 - Wahlund of Minot, Haussler of Bismarck, and Roesler and Lachowitzer of South will run in the GIRLS 1600 meter run FEATURE race
7:35 - Bismarck will run the BOYS 4x100 relay
8:15 - Bismarck, Minot and South will run the GIRLS 4x400 relays
9:00 - Bismarck will run the BOYS 4x400 relay

BOYS 2 mile results:
2nd - Leingang 9:29.74 (lost by .04 seconds)
3rd - Wiest 9:34.49
11th - Brownotter 9:58.36

Wahlund won the 3200 m but i do not have time

Brandon Barnes runs a 4:18 1600 today and wins the race. Lucas Degree runs a 4:26 (I think) in the same race and Josh Hintz runs a 4:32 (I think)

Laura Roesler places 2nd in the 1600 with a 5:02; the winning time was 4:58

Congrats to the Bismarck 4X8 team. That time is AMAZING!
And Roesler too, sick performance.

Laura Roesler places 2nd in the 1600 with a 5:02; the winning time was 4:58

degree ran a 4:24 and hintz ran 4:29.. just checked results
